MotoFinder ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the MotoFinder platform, including our website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service").

By using MotoFinder, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the Service.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and role (Rider, Track Owner, or Admin). You may optionally provide a profile photo, bio, riding style, skill level, bike details, race number, location (city/state), and social media handles.

Track & Event Data: Track owners may submit track details including name, address, coordinates, description, photos, videos, operating hours, and amenities. Event organizers may submit event details, registration information, and media.

User-Generated Content: We collect community posts, comments, ride board listings, track reviews, track condition reports, and direct messages you send through the platform.

Activity Data: We collect check-in records, RSVPs, follows, ride participations, and notification interactions.

Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and time spent.

MotoFinder uses location information in two ways:

Manually provided location: You may enter your city and state in your profile. This is used to show nearby tracks, events, and riders.

Device location (optional): The map explorer may request access to your device's GPS location to show nearby tracks and events. This permission is optional. Location data is not stored on our servers — it is used only in real-time within your browser session.

You can withdraw location permission at any time through your device or browser settings.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. MotoFinder does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our servers.

We collect and store: subscription plan, billing status, transaction IDs, payment timestamps, and the email address associated with your billing account. This information is stored in our database and linked to your user account.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide the MotoFinder platform and its features
• Process subscription payments and promotions
• Send transactional emails (registration confirmations, payment receipts)
• Deliver in-app notifications relevant to your activity
• Display your public profile to other users
• Show nearby tracks, events, and riders
• Enforce our Terms of Service and community guidelines
• Improve the Service through aggregated analytics

MotoFinder uses session cookies and local storage to maintain your login session and remember your preferences (such as sidebar state). These are necessary for the Service to function.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers. We may use aggregated, anonymized analytics to understand how the platform is used.

Content you post publicly on MotoFinder — including community posts, track reviews, condition reports, and public profile information — is visible to all users of the platform, including unauthenticated visitors.

Direct messages are private between participants and are not visible to other users except platform administrators when investigating reported violations.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By submitting content, you grant MotoFinder a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the Service.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:

• Stripe: For payment processing
• GoHighLevel (GHL): For CRM and marketing communication management, if you opt in
• Base44: Our hosting and backend infrastructure provider
• Law enforcement: When required by law or to protect the safety of users

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records).

Public content (tracks, events, community posts) may remain on the platform in anonymized or de-identified form after account deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses (e.g., location)
• Export your data in a portable format

MotoFinder is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure credential management. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
